Abstract

Records of the Century Club in Boston, Mass., formed in 1891 to provide a reading room and social gathering place for its members. Records include the constitution, signatures of members, and minutes of meetings, 1891-1892. The Century Club was formed after the dissolution of the Central Club of Boston (1890), and served similar purposes. Its chief organizer was William H. Parmenter.
